← BackEL Subgroup Configuration
New
Districts and schools can now set whether they have an English Learner (EL) subgroup, following the Mississippi Department of Education accountability rules.
- EL subgroup setting: record the years your district or school has an EL subgroup.
- Projections that follow it: your projected accountability score reflects whether the EL subgroup counts.
- EL Breakeven Point: the minimum EL Progress points, from the ELPT growth model, needed to keep your current projected rating.
Scoring above your breakeven point can add accountability points. Scoring below it won't lower your current projected score or letter grade.
